Offshore Land Game

The IPAA/PESA Petroleum Academy at Southwest High School sophomores had the opportunity to complete in the Offshore Land Game facilitated by Alicia Elias of Apache Corporation on Friday, April 27. Alicia spoke to the sophomores about the responsibilities of a landman. The students then played the Offshore Land Game which includes a $10,000,000 fantasy budget. The team who made the most money drilling was announced the winner.

The winner this year was Team Anadarko consisting of Esau Luna, Carlos Martinez, Daniel Martinez and Jacob Vitela. Team Anadarko earned $40,000,000 with their careful bidding and partnering strategies. Please congratulate these students when you see them.
