Freshmen to the Perot Museum

The freshmen academy students visited the Perot Museum on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 thanks to the sponsorship of the IPAA/PESA Education Center.Fascinating exhibits in the Texas Instruments Engineering and Innovation Hall and in the Tom Hunt Energy Hall gripped the students’ attention, providing exciting hands-on learning experiences.Students competed head to head with robots and learned more about the process of natural gas production.They also had the privilege of visiting the special exhibit, The exhibit offers a hands on cosmic adventure where the students were able to experience the sights, sounds and smells on board an orbiting space station as well experiencing what it take to be an astronaut.Lastly they were able to participate in an hour long Robotics Lab.
