The students completed a full day of hands-on STEM-related activities alongside college students from the University of St. Thomas. Exciting activities included building 4 robotic arms and a rocket. One of the Southwest High School’s Academy teams was awarded the safety award. Each member on the winning team received a virtual reality headset. Congratulations to Megan Prater, Diana Gomez Ramos, Elizabeth Ingram, Michael Luckie, Cameron Waites, Andrew Campos, Symillian Neely-La Roda and Aasish Sanyasi (pictured below).
