Comanche Nuclear Power Plant Field Trip!

Juniors in the IPAA/PESA Petroleum Academy at Southwest High School (IPAS) gained first-hand knowledge of nuclear energy when they explored the Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant in Glen Rose, TX on Tuesday, February 2, 2017. This exciting learning experience introduced the petroleum engineering students to yet another source of energy. Andrew Saunders explained the nuclear industry, his role and that of his colleagues and the many facets of the power plant.
